Q: If we sat on the beach and drank wine and ate great food just you and I, what would you tell me about yourself and your life?

A: A beach is not the place for wine—we'd definitely be drinking a stiff margarita and soaking up the sun and surf.

The locale doesn't determine what I tell people, though, only their questions. I typically don't talk about myself unless in response to questions asked of me—and with those, I am an open book, so what I tell you is merely dictated by what you want to know. So ask away. If I am not comfortable answering you, I will also tell you so—afterall, we're all entitled to a bit of privacy. ;)

Q: What are 5 things you can’t live without?

A: In no particular order: family—including chosen family); music—I have a very eclectic taste; the written word—I am a writer, so writing and reading (especially writing) fuels and recharges my soul; great food & drink—both making and enjoying; and love—I am a hopeless romantic, and I believe that love is humanity's greatest superpower.

Q: What do you enjoy most about yourself?

A: Probably my ability to keep my optimism and positivity. Holding on is believing that there is only a past; letting go is knowing that there is a future. I learned early on to let go of the past, of grudges, of negativity so that you can make room for positivity, abundance, and a brighter future not clouded by the past. We can learn a lot from nature. The trees do not try to force the summer. They know when to let go and trust that the warmth will return one day.

I think this trait of always finding the silver lining and seeing the best in people has made me a kinder, more compassionate person overall and has helped me connect to others easier and on a deeper level. Kindness is free, after all; those who charge for it—or hold it hostage in exchange for something else—aren't kind people at all at the heart of it, are they?

Q: Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like others to absolutely know about you?

A: This may be a business killer, but it should not be because it is exemplary of my genuineness and honesty... but one thing everyone should know about me is that I am am happily married (almost 4 years married, over 7 years together, and have known each other almost 20 years).

He is very much aware that I am on this site, and we have set the rules for this to work within our relationship. We are open and polyamorous, and while we normally only play together, he has given me a bit of forbearance with this endeavor.

Q: How do you go the 'Extra Mile' in your life?

A: Those who know me will probably tell you that I try to make it a point to be present when I am spending time with them—friends, family, or otherwise—engaged in conversation, genuinely interested in their company, and making it a point to be there for them whenever they need someone to vent to. I am pretty good at staying engaged day to day with those in my life.... that that alone is going the extra mile nowadays is sad, I agree, but you would be surprised how many people only engage in conversation when it is convenient for them.

Q: What is your specialty?

A: I am not entirely sure what this question is truly asking, so I am just going to answer it according to what I think it means...

My nickname has been Daddy for several years now, and I think that is also the niche role that I fulfill. I am very masculine, naturally furry, bearded and confident. I have a dominant personality (not to be confused with a DOM, which I am not) and take charge and lead in most situations, very nurturing and have been mentor to many. Because I have a Dad Bod instead of a ripped, muscular physique, my down-to-earth personality shines through, someone less concerned about appearance and more concerned about what is under the surface, and I believe that makes me very approachable. On the same note, I am very personable and social, and I can strike up a conversation with a complete stranger and walk away as at least acquaintances, if not friends. I am very honest and genuine and will tell you the truth in any situation so you are not left wondering or guessing. I prefer the honest approach (no bait & switch) versus a sales pitch and then not delivering.

Q: Tell us about the best experience you have had in life.

A: Walking away from a 14-year toxic relationship was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. Despite loving him and knowing he loved me at the core, he didn’t know how to express love, didn’t know what it truly meant to be intimate, with absolute trust, without holding back or holding a part of himself or me hostage in the relationship. At the end of the day, I say it’s my greatest life experience because it taught me what love is and what it isn’t. It taught me to stand up for myself and my needs without the fear of being ridiculed or punished. It taught me what I wanted out of me my next relationship: honest communication, compromise, both passion and compassion, someone who gives love freely instead of it being something you have to earn, someone who is both trusting and trustworthy. Someone unafraid.

Q: How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

A: I love to travel and there is a huge bucket list of destinations that I am dying to visit. I have visited 21 countries and 29 of the 50 states (30 if you include District of Columbia). I love culture and language and meeting new people and seeing their customs and traditions. I love history, too, and a lot of my bucket list of destinations includes places richly steeped in history and culture.

Q: What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

A: My spare time is rather limited, as I stay pretty busy, but...
✅ I love to read and write (I am huge nerd, meaning I am into nerdy things, but I have always been a social butterfly, so I have never been considered a typical nerd)
✅ I love music (whether the opera, a night at the symphony, or an electronic music festival)
✅ I love to cook and entertain, and I have been told I am a phenomenal and creative cook (perhaps I can even cook a meal for you/us?)
✅ I love a great game or movie night with friends
✅ I love the beach or pool time
✅ I sometimes love to binge watch shows

Q: What distinguishes you from all the other people you know?

A: I've been told my eyes are really powerful—they tend to draw people in and give them a sense of safety, or even inflame their passion and lust. I am very passionate, and I got the nickname Daddy at a young age because I've always looked out for and protected others, often trying to give a voice to those who feel they have no voice, or even just taking the time to check in on others so they know they are not alone and have someone in their corner.

Q: What would you say are your greatest attributes?

A: I am a strong empath, which means I can read and even feel other peoples emotions; I can even absorb them, or influence someone's emotions. This trait is great because it allows me to sense any nervousness, emotional distress, anger, or frustration before entering any given situation. It also allows me to mediate situations, help others work through their emotions, and even help to heal mental or emotional duress.

Being an empath has taught me great communication skills, patience, compassion, and a stronger access to my own intimacy and to help others tap into theirs. It has helped me in a lot of my jobs in the past, from bartending to sales & marketing, as well as my ability to write characters and situations in my stories that are full of true-to-life emotions (even though they are only alive on the pages or screen, I can even connect empathically to characters of books and movies).

I bring this skill/trait with me with every client, sensing what they need, what makes them comfortable & uncomfortable, what causes hesitation, etc., and I even try digging into that with the client to make sure their own hesitations and doubts aren't preventing them from enjoying themselves.

Q: What should others absolutely know about you?

A: I am a published author, editor, and publisher—I own a speculative fiction publishing company that is currently on hiatus, but we have published one fairytale retelling anthology and have another anthology pending that centers on re-imaginings of Alice In Wonderland.

My absolute passion is writing, creating worlds separate from or within our own that you can briefly escape to. Part of my decision to start this endeavor (RM) is to catapult my goal toward financial security so I can again focus on my writing and publishing.

Q: What would you like your readers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?

A: Aside from this venture, I am a serial entrepreneur.

I have a graphics+branding firm that focuses on graphic and web design, as well as branding, marketing, and promotional products. If you have your own business and need swag/promotional products, or if you're in the market for a logo or full brand development, I am your guy. When we get together, definitely bring it up if you're in the market.

I also produce electronic music events and manage a roster of deejays.
