RentMen:
If we sat on the beach and drank wine and ate great food just you and I, what would you tell me about yourself and your life?
gingerbeardTX:
I am thankful for every phase of my life thus far and cannot wait to find out what's next. I see the challenges and mistakes as opportunities to become better, and for that reason do my best to live free of regret. Integrity, honesty, and sharing my true self with people are all very important to me, and I always strive to be one who has the sort of good energy folks gravitate toward, whether or not they know me personally. I think it is important to be kind, yet just as important to decide for myself what types of treatment and behavior I will allow from others.
RentMen:
What are 5 things you can’t live without?
gingerbeardTX:
coffee, friends, sun, alone time, adventure
RentMen:
Tell us about the best experience you have had in life.
gingerbeardTX:
Without a doubt, it was having the chance to live in Brazil for six months. The scenery, the food, the beautiful and very welcoming people -- all of it absolutely unforgettable! And to have the chance to study and learn Portuguese was such a joy for me. Even though I'm no longer there, I continue to work on my language skills every day. I'm already looking forward to going back and hope that it's sometime soon!
RentMen:
What kind of diet and fitness regimen do you follow?
gingerbeardTX:
I have been a Paleo eater for years and stick with that most of the time, especially at home. When I go out to eat I like to be a bit more relaxed, especially when it comes to bread and desserts! This past year I started making one or two days a week vegetarian days, and I have felt much better for it although I plan to continue following the Paleo template for the most part. For my workouts I enjoy the punching bag along with some free weights. Yoga, stretches and meditation are a big part of my fitness program and I believe that managing stress is one of the most important keys to staying fit as well.
