A: People often tell me my warmth, and their ability to disarm around me is my strength. A friend endearingly called me "an emotional stool softener" for people and I think that is equally as meaningful as it is funny. At the end of my life, I want people to be able to say that they got to be more of themselves when they were around me. If that's what I accomplish, then I can hold my head high through all else.

A: Music, Laughter, Coffee, Hugs, & Conversation

A: My personality. I'm always laughing, always looking for the good and the beauty, I'm intentional. All of that grounds me. At a time when it definitely feels like life is getting more complicated by the day, I still continue to create joy and that is something I love about myself.

A: I would more than likely be asking questions about you. I love understanding all of the little intricate things that make us human. I would want to hear what makes you smile, and share my own. What breaks your heart, and what breaks mine. And right there in the the spaces between us, I would become more intrigued on our commonalities and seek to understand more and more.

A: I'm a musician. I sing, I write, I play a little guitar. It's my favorite pass time, and such a cathartic avenue for me to express myself. I get lost in every aspect of music, and it has impacted my life immeasurably.

A: I travel often and love the adventure of traveling, but when I am home I do prefer the homebody life. There's something so perfect and right about being in my own bed. But when adventure calls, I definitely love its' pursuit.

A: I grew up in a small conservative town from the south, and now I live in New York. I grew up in religion and even have a degree in theology, and now I don't even attend church anymore. My world is made up of so many contradictions and intersections, and it is what makes me adaptable moment by moment in my connections. I don't really fit perfectly in any box or category and that often allows me a very unique perspective.
