A: I cannot begin to stress how big honesty and patience are to me as traits in others... if you can give those to me when we interact, you'll get the exact same back!
A: Love to better myself and learn... always trying to improve/expand my knowledge base on random things. I love thrift shopping, going to the beach, traveling, etc.
A: I invest everything I have, into everything I do. Whether it be career, school, love, friendships- etc! It's part of the reason why I limit how much I have going on at any given time in my life, because I give such a huge part of myself into that which I do... if I take on too much it's easily overwhelming.
I 'm picky about the friends I keep, because I want to be the type of companion who can pick up the phone at 3:15 AM if you need me... but with a big group of friends, that's a lot to handle. And similar mentality extends to the other areas of my life!
A: Netflix, naps, long drives, swimming, video games!
A: This past May I graduated college after several semesters straight of classes- 4.0, honors garb, sitting beside one of my bestfriends. It was a surreal moment for me, absolutely surreal... to know 3 years prior I was a dropout, to see myself sitting there in a blue robe with Premed on the horizon?
I couldn't hardly keep the tears back, it was a fantastic feeling.
A: My loved ones have always said I have an "air" about me... despite dressing plainly most of the time, and not being particularly bolsterous in public. Not really something I've noticed, but I guess that's the point.
A: When I tell people my story I think the things that stick out to them about me afterwords are: my determination, my positivity/attitude, and how "normal" I come across despite going through so much.
A: Working with people, in any facet- I'm in Healthcare with the plans of going to Medical School in a few years... caring for others and improving their lives has always been a consistent strength of mine growing up.
Was always the "advice friend" and still am! People can be frustrating, but I can't help but be a bleeding heart at the end of the day.
A: Healthy balance! About 10 places in the states over the last year and a half.
A: I eat junk food but imagine its a salad as I take bites.
A: I live quietly, I've never felt the need to put my life on broadcast at all times. When I wake up in the mornings I go about my day, handle my business, love those in my life, go to class, etc- typically without needing validation that I'm doing it from others.
I've worked my ASS off to get to where I am currently- that's been a journey of getting pushed to my limits, many a time... but I somehow manage to clench my teeth and press on through whatever storm is raging.
A: Trauma, which is something that most of us wind up dealing with at some point or another in our lives- has been a constant in my life even growing up. Wound up getting diagnosed with PTSD in December of 2017, and it's been a working journey everyday...
A: I had a fairly turbulent and rough upbringing- I dropped out of Highschool then went back and put myself through four semesters of college graduating with a 4.0! I start my Premed this Spring, and am planning on riding that wave all the way to my MD.
A: Bullshit doesn't sit well with me- I'm adaptable and open minded with things, but bullshitting or lying to me is just one of those things that'll toss my understanding out the window.
A: I've never had a very hard time making friends, I get along well with people and can always manage to connect with others on at least SOME level. That's probably the thing I enjoy the most about myself, my ability to get along with others... it's made some situations and stages of my life that weren't simple, much easier.
A: Rain, the ocean, movie theatre popcorn (not the at-home microwave kind), fuzzy blankets, sleeping in.
