A: I travel a few times a year and then take mini trips to LA and other cities when I can. I've traveled through Central America, India, Thailand, and Spain. When I travel I don't like to do a million things. I'd rather be more mellow and get to know one area really well. My favorite thing to do when traveling is to simply have a day to wander around a city or a park and eat good food.
A: Im extremely organized in my Yoga practice. I do standing poses and inversions every day and then tend to rotate between backbends, forward bends, and twists throughout the week. As far as food I will most anything that isn't processed. I try to be conscious about where my food comes from, especially meat and I get most of my produce at the farmers market near my house.
A: I practice Yoga for two hours a day. I've had a daily practice for the past decade and feel really lucky to have gotten into it as a teenager. It inspired me then and it inspires me now. I really prioritize living in a healthy way by staying active and eating fresh, whole foods. Prioritizing my art and my health is a defining quality for me and have shaped my life in such beautiful ways.
A: I'm always reflecting about the strange ways in which I ended up where I am. I'm glad to be the person I am and it's sometimes shocking to think of all the experiences that led me to the present moment. I would tell you that I haven't lived my life without regrets, but that I've gained a lot of insight from them :) At least I think I have!
A: I work to be emotionally present and available to people in my life. It's a quality I value in others as well and that I strive to create in myself.
A: My friends. I know it's cliche, but they are truly my family. Without them I would be lost!
Yoga/Movement. The movement arts inspire me and I am a much happier person when I am actively involved in my body on a daily basis.
Learning. I find I'm at my best when I am learning anything new at all. Having new outlets to explore my creativity and hone my skills in areas like bodywork, cooking, Spanish, etc. keeps me interested in life.
Butter. As a Southern boy I don't really know how to cook without a lot of butter. It makes everything better and is totally not bad for you!
La Croix pomplemousse sparkling water. Okay I could probably live without this, but it's the best fizzy water ever and I can't drink enough.
