A: I've had a pretty interesting life and had a lot of varied life experiences. the awards I was up for my senior year of high school sort of sum me up as a person - I was nominated for Most Likely to Succeed, Biggest Airhead, Class Clown, and Most School Spirit. Of course, I didn't win any. I almost went to university on a bassoon scholarship; instead I went as chemical engineering major before switching over to art. I worked in fashion for many years in New York. I have that jack of all trades thing going on.
A: I've been watching more old movies lately and have recently become a little obsessed with Douglas Sirk movies. I also am terrible at watching TV, but when I find a show I like, I'll binge watch it from beginning to end. I enjoy a good dance party. I have started making/designing t-shirts, which has been a really great creative outlet.
A: I don't believe in karma or the golden rule.
I am a very kind and honest person and I am very selfless and treat others very well. I am loyal to a fault.
I don't expect any of this in return, I do so because I believe it's the right thing to do.
A: I do what I think is fun every day! In addition to my regular biking, climbing, yoga, and healthy food eating, I love exploring new parks/restaurants/cultural institutions/hot springs, collaborating on making beautiful images, and shopping. There. I said it. Shopping.
A: My last serious relationship. We had a deep, deep connection and love for each other, and even though things didn't work out for us on the romantic level, to have that sort of connection with someone, for however brief a time, is a blessing.
A: My inner strength, ability to land on my feet, my militantly aesthetic ways.
A: I do not travel nearly as much as I would like! My goal for the next year is to travel much, MUCH more.
A: I focus on eating a healthy diet, getting plenty of regular exercise, and maintaining functional strength. I haven't lifted weights seriously since 2013 and I've never felt better, and in my opinion, my body has never looked better. I eat healthy, cook the majority of my meals, and get the bulk of my produce from farmer's markets (that's me with the bunches of greens hanging out of the box on my rear bike rack). I bike on average 12-20 miles a day. I do yoga daily, and I go bouldering at climbing gyms a couple times a week.
A: I love being around the energy of world cultural centers. NYC is a city of the world, and LA is possibly the most vibrant and exciting city in the US right now. I don't necessarily make visual art, but I have lived my life as an artist and like to participate and collaborate with my artist friends. I live as a minimalist and throw things away in my spare time. I do my best to cook the majority of my meals. I live a healthy lifestyle - some may say boring, but I've done enough crazy things in my life I don't feel bad being a little more square now!
A: I'm left-handed, for starters, and to get a little more personal, I moved back to my hometown of Bakersfield CA for a year to help take care of my mom.
A: I'm not as scary as I look!
A: no matter the obstacles I've faced, I've never lost my smile
A: let's sit on the beach and drink some wine and eat some great food! sounds fun!
A: delicious food, the climbing gym, art, my bicycle, and humor
