Q: How do you go the 'Extra Mile' in your life?

A: I always try to add to the lives of the people I interact with, to leave things better than I found them if I can.

Q: What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

A: I paint and make sculpture; I'm a method focused visual artist.

Q: Tell us about the best experience you have had in life.

A: I'm really grateful for growing up in a family that moved around to a new place every few years. Although I would rarely fit in anywhere, it taught me early on to think critically and to examine ideas that I didn't at first understand.

Q: What would you say are your greatest attributes?

A: I try to look at every situation from as many perspectives as I can reasonably think of within the given parameters.
"go big or go home" is a phrase that resonates with me big time, and when I make a connection I believe in then I'm very much a "ride-or-die" type of guy.
I'm very, very laid back. about most things.

Q: How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

A: I like to travel often, I get the itch to see someplace new pretty easily. Feels like there's never enough time to see all the places I'd like to see, and then all the places people suggest too.

Q: What do you do for fun?

A: Depends on the day! I like to be outdoors if the weather is nice, tossing around a frisbee in a park. Indoors I’m usually working on a painting or sculpture.

Q: If we sat on the beach and drank wine and ate great food just you and I, what would you tell me about yourself and your life?

A: It’s hard to say what I would talk about because I don’t have any rehearsed stories; I prefer to let conversation progress organically. I’d likely relate an amusing anecdote or two from my past. Sharing curious (yet often useless) factoids is bound to happen - I’ve always been very curious and I love sharing things I’ve learned with others who have similar interests.

Q: What do you enjoy most about yourself?

A: I'm really good at taking jokes if I can catch one. Ha! I'm pretty laid back about most things, I can easily laugh at myself for doing something dumb or embarrassing, I don't often take things personally, and I am direct and honest. These are traits that I have admired in others and I am proud to say I do the work to call them traits of mine now also.

Q: What are 5 things you can’t live without?

A: Having music to listen to is the first thing that comes to mind, rare is the occasion I prefer silence. Painting is another big part of my life; it's a way for me to process things going on around me and I don't really get why or how, but it works, so without it, I'd probably be (more of) a nutcase!
Three: Hot sauce(s): any, as many, all.
Fourth: the ending of winter, brrr.
Fifth: the end of summer, too damn hot. `
