A: You know, there's a huge social stigma, even still, about working guys, this work and sex work in general. Some, I'd venture to say most, feel that we are damaged goods or that we are down and out resulting in us having to selling ourselves for money or that we are society's victims. In my case, as well as other guys I know, this couldn't be further from the truth. Most of us do this because we enjoy it. Al'bet, we have different motivations. I'd tell you about my upbringing in a Catholic boarding school, how I graduate form high school early and joined the U.S. Army. How I went to medical school and served my country with distinction. How I went on to become a senor healthcare exec and later a federal info security I.T. project manager responsible millions of contract dollars. How I left all that to start a very successful firm which I run to this day all the while moon lighting. Did I need the money, not so much. "Why do it, one might ask? That answer comes quite easily to me... because I f*cuking love it.
A: I sometimes get requests for me to send a face photo before booking. My response; Absolutely Not. If a guys face photo is not posted, there is most likely a reason. My reason is that I have a career outside of this work. Might I dare say I'm considered a public figure in many DC social & professional circles. I would never ask a client to send me a photo before I'd agree to meet with them, so why should I be expected or requested to show a face pic. I live in Washington, DC... unlike many other cities around the U.S. and world, DC is uniquely placed. We pride ourselves on not airing our dirty laundry. I would never try to convince a client to meet with me without a face picture if that's what they're comfortable with. I also always suggest they book another guy that has a face picture. If a potential client is concerned about my boyish good looks, let's just say, I would not have lasted as long as I have in this industry being a Butta-Face (everything looks good But The Face)...LOL,
A: This may sound cliche, but I do this because I absolutely LOVE IT, not out of a financial need. Now don't get me wrong, the money is great but its not my main motivation. This is one of the coolest & most enjoyable experiences ever and I get to live it on my terms. For me it's about a connection. I'm all about connecting with people on higher level than physically. I get that we all need THAT physical connection but for me that vibes has got to be right. I've been this work off and on for years and the one thing that holds true, for me at least, is that if the vibe is there, it only makes our encounter more enjoyable for both parties. I've turned clients down because I felt the vibe was off. When clients ask me how long do I think I'll be doing this work? That answer is always a no-brainer... until it stops being fun.
A: The fact that I don't judge. Never have and don't understand those who do. Not sure where I got this trait from as I grew up in a pretty high-brow environment. I would be considered, what those who grew up in the 60-70's would call, a hippy. I've always bucked at the conservative establishment. This helped me later on in life once I discover I was also attracted to men, when I met and became friends with the first trans person I've saw (this was back in the day when no one understood much about trans peoples) and when I got into the kink/fetish scene. I consider myself a open book, I want to meet as many people as I can and learn something from each and every single one of them. Hopefully, during that process that learn a little something from me.
